This guide covers two separate Account settings tasks: turning the app's notifications on or off, and permanently deleting your Innovibe account. They live on different tabs and do very different things, but they're both managed from the Account settings screen.
You'll need:
- Your Client account (logged in on the Innovibe app)
Notifications
What the notifications setting controls
Innovibe sends you push notifications shortly before each Session becomes available. That's what gives you a nudge to open the app and listen at the scheduled time. The Notifications toggle on the Advanced tab turns those in-app nudges on or off.
This toggle is specific to Innovibe. Your phone's system-level permission for Innovibe (the one you granted when you first installed the app) is separate - if you've denied notifications in your phone's settings, this toggle won't bring them back until you re-enable them there.
Turn notifications on or off
- Tap your avatar in the top-right of any screen, then tap Account Settings.
- Tap the Advanced tab (the rightmost tab).
- Flip the Notifications switch to the state you want. The switch is coral when on and grey when off.
- Tap the coral Save changes button at the bottom.

The button label changes to "Saving changes..." while Innovibe saves, then returns to "Save changes".
Account deletion
Before you do this
Deleting your Innovibe account is permanent and irreversible. Here's what happens when you confirm:
- Your profile is removed.
- All your Schedules and Session history are deleted.
- Your link to your Practitioner is dropped.
- You're signed out immediately and sent back to the login screen.
If you just want a break from Innovibe, turn notifications off instead - you can always come back and pick up where you left off. Delete only if you truly want your data gone.
Delete your account
- Tap your avatar in the top-right, then Account Settings.
- Stay on the General tab (the default).
- Scroll below the Save changes button. You'll see a divider, then the Delete Account section.
The section reads:
"This is a non-recoverable action that will permanently delete all of your data and burn your account to the ground."
- Read it, make sure it's what you want, then tap Permanently delete account - the coral-outlined button at the bottom of the section.

The button label changes to "Deleting account..." while the request processes. The moment it completes, Innovibe signs you out and returns you to the login screen. There is no extra confirmation dialog - tapping that button is the commit step.
If you change your mind after tapping
Once the deletion has gone through there is no undo on your side. If you believe it was a mistake, contact Innovibe support as soon as possible. We may be able to recover recent data from backups depending on timing, but please don't count on it - always treat the delete button as final.
Common issues
- "The Notifications toggle is grey but my phone isn't buzzing" - the toggle is set to off. Flip it on and tap Save changes. If it's already on and you still don't see notifications, check your phone's system settings for Innovibe app permissions.
- "I turned notifications on but the button still says Save changes" - tap Save changes to commit the switch. The change isn't saved until you tap the button.
- "I tapped Permanently delete account but nothing happened" - check your connection. The deletion call won't complete if the app can't reach Innovibe. Reopen the app and try again.
- "I deleted my account by mistake" - contact support right away. Recovery is not guaranteed but timing matters.
