Updating your profile

Updating your profile

Your profile is where Innovibe stores your name, contact details, and time preferences. Keeping it up to date matters because your timezone controls when your Sessions are scheduled in local time, and your email and phone are the channels your Practitioner uses to reach you. This guide walks through the General settings tab where all of that lives.

You'll need:

  • Your Client account (logged in on the Innovibe app)

Step 1 - Open Account settings

Tap your avatar in the top-right of any screen. A small menu appears. Tap Account Settings.

You land on the Settings page with three tabs at the top:

  • General - your profile details (this guide).
  • Password - change your password.
  • Advanced - notification preferences.

Make sure the General tab is selected.

Step 2 - Edit your profile fields

On the General tab you can edit six fields, in order:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Language - read-only for now, always shown as English. Will become editable when Innovibe adds more languages.
  • Timezone - a dropdown with every timezone. Pick the one you live in.

Tap any field to edit it. Tap the Timezone dropdown to pick a different zone.

Keeping your timezone accurate is the important one - Innovibe uses it to decide when a Session becomes available to you on the Dashboard.

Step 3 - Pick a timezone

Tap the Timezone field. A picker opens with a scrollable list of timezones. Scroll or type to find yours, then tap it. The dropdown closes and the chosen zone appears in the field.

Step 4 - Save your changes

Tap the coral Save changes button at the bottom of the form. The button label changes to "Saving changes..." while Innovibe writes your updates, then returns to "Save changes" when the save is complete.

If anything was wrong with what you entered, error messages appear below the affected fields (e.g. a malformed email). Fix them and tap Save again.

What's below the form

Scroll below the Save button and you'll see a Delete Account section. That's a separate, one-way action - deleting your account is permanent and non-recoverable. If you ever need to go that route, see Notifications and account deletion (coming soon) for the full flow. For everything else on this page, stick with the fields above.

Common issues

  • "The Language field is greyed out" - expected. Innovibe currently supports English only. The field will open up when more languages are available.
  • "Saving changes..." stays on the button for a long time - likely a weak connection. Wait a moment; if nothing happens, pull down on the screen to refresh and try again.
  • "I don't see my timezone in the list" - the picker uses the full IANA timezone database. Type a major city near you (e.g. "Lisbon", "Tokyo", "Denver") to find a matching zone.
  • "My Session times look wrong after a trip" - if you've travelled to a different timezone, update this field to match where you are. Innovibe will re-calculate your Session times to your new local time.
  • "I want to change my email to one I've already used" - emails are unique in Innovibe. If the new email was previously on another Innovibe account, you'll see a validation error.
