Creating a Schedule: picking a Track, Potency, and Category

Creating a Schedule: picking a Track, Potency, and Category

Once you've chosen the Client for a new Schedule, the next block on the Create Schedule form is Track information. This is where you tell Innovibe which Innovibe Frequency to play. Innovibe organises every Track along four axes, and the form asks for each one in turn.

If the cascade feels familiar, it's meant to. Think of it as narrowing down an Innovibe Frequency the same way you would narrow down a book in a library: first the title, then the edition, then the volume.

You'll need:

  • An existing draft Schedule in progress (see Bringing a new Client on board for the previous step)
  • A clear idea of the Innovibe Frequency you want to assign

The four fields

The Track information section has four fields, stacked like this:

  • Track name - the Innovibe Frequency itself (full width, searchable).
  • Abbreviation - a short code that identifies the Innovibe Frequency at a glance.
  • Potency - the strength (e.g. 30C, 200C, 1M). Required - every Schedule must have one.
  • Category - a further classification of the Track.

Two fields are auto-filled by Innovibe and you can't edit them directly:

  • Abbreviation - always set from the Track name you choose.
  • Category - today every Track belongs to the same Category, so the field is pre-filled and disabled. (It may become editable in the future if Innovibe adds new Categories.)

That leaves two real choices: the Track name and the Potency.

Step 1 - Pick a Track name

Click the Track name dropdown. A search field appears at the top, followed by the full alphabetical list of Tracks available to you.

  1. Start typing part of the Innovibe Frequency name (for example arn to find Arnica).
  2. Click the matching Track in the filtered list.

The Track name dropdown open with the search query

The moment you pick a name, Innovibe does three things:

  • Fills in the Abbreviation field.
  • Pre-selects a default Potency (the first one available for that Track).
  • Fills in the Category (the single one currently available).

Step 2 - Choose the Potency

Potency is required, and Innovibe always picks a default for you when you select a Track. If that default is the right one, you're done. If not, click the Potency field and choose another from the list (for example 30C, 200C, 1M).

If the Track only has one Potency on Innovibe, the field is filled in and disabled - there's nothing to change.

A note on Category

Today every Track on Innovibe belongs to the same Category, so the Category field is always pre-filled and locked. You don't pick a Category, and you can ignore this field for now.

If Innovibe adds new Categories in the future, the field will become editable and you'll be able to choose between them the same way you choose a Potency.

Adjusting your selection before saving

While you're still on the Create Schedule form, you can swap the Track or Potency as many times as you like:

  • Change the Track name - Abbreviation, Potency, and Category all reset to the defaults of the new Track.
  • Change the Potency - the other fields update to match.

Double-check your choice before you submit. Once the Schedule is saved, the Track, Potency, and Category are locked - a Schedule can't be re-pointed at a different Innovibe Frequency. If you need a different Innovibe Frequency for the same Client, end the current Schedule and create a new one.

Common issues

  • "I can't find a Track by typing its name" - Check your spelling. The search is a substring match on the Innovibe Frequency's full name, so typing a partial word works (for example ars finds Arsenicum Album). If it's still missing, the Track may not be in your practice's library. Contact support.
  • "The Potency field is greyed out" - This Track has only one Potency in Innovibe. The single value is already filled in; nothing else to choose.
  • "The Category field is greyed out" - Expected. Every Track currently belongs to the same Category, so the field is locked for now.
  • "I cleared the Track name and the form won't let me continue" - Pick a new Track name before you submit. The Schedule can't be created without one.
